Important Update: USA Visa Passport Collection Procedure Revised (Effective August 1, 2025)
If you're planning to travel to the United States, please take note of the recent changes in the passport collection process for USA visa applicants, effective from 1st August 2025.
? Third-party & representative collections will no longer be allowed.
This means only the applicant themselves can collect their passport. No authorization letters or third-party representatives will be accepted at collection centers.
? For minors (below 18 years):
Only a parent or legal guardian can collect the passport. A consent letter signed by both parents will be mandatory if collected by the guardian.
? Home delivery now available:
Applicants can now opt for passport home delivery by paying an additional fee. This is a convenient option for those who cannot visit the collection center.
? These updates have been introduced to increase the security and transparency of the document handling process.
